“The Future is Black and A Loved 1 invite artists of African descent—based in Pittsburgh and BEYOND—to submit work for Sacred Threads, an upcoming exhibition exploring the figurative and literal sacred cycles of birth, life, and death across the African diaspora.
This show is a living testament to the cultural threads that bind us—from rituals of arrival and resilience to ancestral remembrance and transformation.
Artists of all levels are welcome, and works in progress will be accepted for review.”
