Laurie Trok: February 2025

Laurie Trok is a multidisciplinary artist based in Pittsburgh, PA whose work leans into our experience of the ephemeral and the ways time is made visible by entropy. Laurie often works with food sculpture and performance, as well as creating menus that investigate our relationship to time. By imagining and facilitating new rituals, Laurie's work engages her audience as collaborators in generating alternative systems.

Whether a corn husk as pinned specimen or rocks that become cake, Laurie's work suspends disbelief as an entry point to inner worlds, spaces of grief, and new ways to tell stories.
