Job Description:
• Full-time, Exempt
• Salary: $40,000
• Hours: Flexible hours, including weekends during Summer and Fall months, partial work-from-home
• Benefits: Medical and vision; paid vacation and holidays; access to classes and equipment, 401k program
• Reports to the Director of Community Engagement and Education
The Community Engagement Coordinator primarily serves as the liaison to community partners and coordinator of all Sweetwater Center for the Arts outreach programming. Duties and responsibilities include developing relationships within the region and creating new and strengthened current outreach programs. The Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for programming on Sweetwater’s new art mobile unit, Sweet Ride, The Annual Mavuno Exhibition, and YAPP (Youth Arts Possibilities Program). This position requires a valid driver’s license and the willingness to drive a Ford microbus. (no special license required)
