Get ready to kick your creativity into high gear! Philadelphia Soccer 2026 is on the hunt for the perfect poster to represent our commonwealth for the FIFA World Cup 26™. This is our chance to showcase Pennsylvania's artistic talent on the world's biggest soccer stage!
About the contest
Since 1930, the FIFA World Cup™ has been more than just a sporting event—it's been a cultural phenomenon, with each tournament immortalized through iconic official posters. Not only will there be a tournament poster in 2026, but for the first time ever, each Host City gets to create its own unique poster. And guess what? Philadelphia is in the game!
The winning design won't just be a poster—it'll be a symbol of Pennsylvania's artistic prowess, a testament to our soccer passion, and a beacon welcoming the world to the City of Brotherly Love. So, channel your inner Picasso-meets-Pelé and let’s GO!

How it works
Open Call for Artists: We're inviting talented artists from across the Commonwealth to submit their portfolios. Submit a link to your portfolio or a shared folder with up to 10 examples of your best work by Friday, October 4, 2024.
Design Creation: Up to 10 artists will be chosen to bring their Philly-soccer vision to life. Each selected artist gets a $1,000 boost to fuel their creativity! Chosen artists will be contacted directly by Philadelphia Soccer 2026 by Friday, October 11, 2024 and will receive the necessary logo, color files and design regulations to complete their designs. Final design submissions are due by November 4, 2024.
Finalist Selection: Our expert judging panel will pick the top 3 designs and notify artists by November 22, 2024. These artists will each score an extra $2,500! The top designs will be sent to FIFA for the final pick. But that's not all – we're putting all our selected artists in the limelight with social media features showcasing samples of their artwork, local press coverage, and a special event showcasing our finalists!
What’s at stake
The winning artist selected by FIFA will receive an additional $7,500.
When FIFA unveils each Host City poster design in 2025, Philadelphia Soccer 2026 will host a press event with the winning artist to showcase their work to the world! And it doesn’t stop there. Philadelphia Soccer 2026 will continue to work directly with the artist on publicity and promotional opportunities leading up to and during FIFA World Cup 26™. The world’s eyes aren’t just on Philadelphia in 2026 – they could be on your work!
Please note: In accordance with Pennsylvania laws, prizes awarded in a contest are limited to $25,000 total. Awards for this contest have been developed to remain within this limit.
