Residencies at The Studio - Corning Museum of Glass (Due Aug. 31)

Residencies at The Studio - Corning Museum of Glass
Deadline: August 31st, 2024

The Studio serves as a host for residencies where artists may solely focus on their work and research. The Studio provides housing, a meal stipend, transportation to and from Corning, New York, and a residency manager to act as liaison to additional services in Corning and at the Museum.

Residents have access to the Museum's unparalleled resources, including a comprehensive collection of over 50,000 glass objects, the world’s foremost research library on glass, and one of the most extensively equipped glassmaking facilities in the world. Residents are provided material support and they are connected to Museum staff who lend their expertise toward stated residency goals.

The unparalleled support across a diverse range of residency programs fosters an experience where artists and scholars can make a significant leap in their exploration of the material, allowing them to see glass in a new light.

The Studio has the Artist-in-ResidenceDavid Whitehouse Research Residency for Artists, and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Residency programs.
