The Associated Artists of Pittsburgh (AAP) was established in 1910. The vision was simple: to exhibit and promote high quality work by artists living and working in the region. Today, AAP adds arts education and professional development for artists to its motivation, but it's mission remains the same.

Mission: The AAP enhances the region's cultural vitality and promotes visual arts excellence by showcasing artists' work through contemporary exhibitions, providing community-based education programs, and facilitating a broad dialogue to engage artists with one another and the community.
