The Associated Artists of Pittsburgh 107th Annual Exhibition will open Saturday, November 9, 2019 at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art. The deadline for submissions is by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. The juror is Juana Williams, Exhibitions Curator at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts.

There is a $25 fee per entry for members, $100 fee per non-members. Artists are allowed to submit 1-2 pieces per entry.

For each artwork submission, members must include title, date, medium, dimensions (framed), and price of work. Submissions without the required information cannot be evaluated.

Works must have been produced within the last two years, and all work must be for sale. All 2-D work must have D-rings attached and be install-ready per museum guidelines. All mats must be white, cream, or light gray. Works cannot exceed ceiling height (16’). For sculpture, please specify if you prefer a platform or pedestal for install. Note that all final presentation decisions will be made by the Juror and Westmoreland Museum staff.

The following materials are restricted from entry: live or dead plant materials, organic materials such as food products that will decompose during the exhibit, and any material that shows evidence of insect infestation or mold growth. For film and other similar forms, artists must provide the necessary equipment needed to view the film for the duration of the exhibition

Artists will be notified in August 2019 if their work was selected. Upon selection, artists must provide AAP with a high resolution image of their work. Measurements need to be at least 4.5 in. x 4.5 in at 300 dpi which translates to at least 1350 x 1350 pixels.

If selected, artists must deliver or ship their work to the AAP offices in Pittsburgh, PA on Monday, October 21, 2019. Artists must also pickup their work from the AAP offices shortly after exhibition closing in January 2020.
